Lake Region Union High School

September is Attendance Awareness Month. Schools throughout Vermont--Lake Region included--are launching new efforts to improve student attendance in response to rates of chronic absenteeism that have been climbing for the last several years. On Wednesday of this last week, teachers and OCSU staffers gathered to welcome students to school, celebrating their dedication to attending school . We are off to a good start and determined to support students and families in removing barriers to attendance this year so students can participate fully in their education.
